Arthur has been involved with real estate for many years, as an attorney, realtor, and developer. He has provided services in the New York, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Arthur graduated from Colgate University in 1958, and returned to Hamilton in 2005. He and his wife Jeanne find this area a great place to work, raise children, or to "actively retire." An avid golfer, Arthur also is involved with the local arts scene and the Lifelong Learning programs offered by Colgate for community residents.
After receiving the top grade in his law school real estate class, Arthur's interest in the subject became a lifelong pursuit. He received a Fulbright Scholarship to study the European version of condominiums and worked on the first ones in New York City. After working in investment banking and arts management, and counseling the Rockefeller Family, Arthur moved to Upstate New York where he was involved with real estate as both an attorney and as the owner of several real estate brokerage offices. This led to several management and development projects, including a resort, golf course, and several housing developments
In Charlottesville, Virginia, Arthur specialized in housing for seniors and in golf community homes. During this time he received his SRES designation (Senior Real Estate Specialist). See: www.seniorrealestate.com. He returned to Upstate New York to work with William H. Thomas, M.D. on developing new concepts in Senior Housing.
Arthur will go out of his way to explore what is "right" in any transaction and to make a sale or purchase of your home or property a pleasant and proper experience. Most of all, he values word-of-mouth referrals and looks forward to working with you.
